posting scammers e-mail addresses

I've decided to go back to posting scammers on this blog. I'll be posting the e-mail addresses in bunches; as I clear them out a coupl,e times a day. I'll noi longer post their photos since the photos are rarely (if ever) of the scammer, but stolen from other sites. I'll post the contents of the e-mails they send it they send any. This allows people to google on emails from scammers on other sites to see if they have been posted here.

This is my criteria for posting someone on my scammer list

1. They lie about their location, especially if they are posting from Nigeria, Russia, Ukraine, West Africa or UAE and say they are from another country.
2. Post a photo that is obviously a super model.
3. Sign in from mulitple countries in the same day.
4. They have confirmed that the e-mail address they are using is theirs or they have hacked someone's e-mail acct. I do not post an e-mail address unless they have gone through the confirmation process.

I know this list has become usefull and I appreciate everyone using the comments section to inform others of scams.

cnn news appearing in my ads

On OtherSingles I recently saw an Google AdSense advertisement titled "Jeffrey Epstein Arrested" with the subtext "Billionaire charged in prostitution ring" with a link to the page on CNN. I haven't noticed news items in Google AdSense before but maybe I missed it. Is CNN purchasing advertising on Google AdSense or did a third party purchase the advertisement and for what reason??

I'm addicted to digg. I can't help but wonder the business model of making a digg for dating profiles. What are the privacy implications of posting a photo from a third party dating site? Even if the profile was pulled live from the dating site, and removed when they left I don't think people would appreciate having their photo propagated over the Internet without their permission.

The demise of my spammers blog

I haven't had any spammers to post for a while because OtherSingles hasn't had any in awhile. I've automated my site to detect spammers and delete them on the spot. Very few have made it through. Maybe I should patent and license the technology; it is very simple to implement but very few other dating sites do it. Online daters are getting more savy and are sick of scammers and spammers. Read through this blog and you will see customers from the pay sites that are sick of being scammed from fake profiles created by the dating sites to get their free members to upgrade. That's why I made this site free, and that's why it continues to grow.

What does this mean??

Blocking users from Russian, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Ukraine

I am now blocking users from the countries above due to the large volume of scammers attempting to scam money from my members. Most sites allow profiles to be created from these countries because they add to their membership base and they entice non-paying members to pay to contact them. These profiles always have pictures of beautiful models and near perfect women/men. Eventually they will ask you for money for a visa/air fare/transalation services. You and your money will soon be parted. These profiles are easily blocked, if your dating site isn't blocking them, you need a new dating site.
